Reservoir Park Grand Opening Set for October 21, 2024!
Loudoun Water and NOVA Parks announced today that Reservoir Park will open to the public on October 21, 2024. Beginning at noon, the public will have access to the park, including picnic pavilions, hiking, fishing, boat launch and interpretive exhibits. This milestone is the culmination of many years of community input, stakeholder feedback, and careful planning, design and construction.

Loudoun Water and partners throughout North America today kicked off Drinking Water Week, a decades-long tradition led by the American Water Works Association. Taking place May 7-13 this year, Drinking Water Week is a celebration recognizing the vital role water plays in everyday life for both water professionals and the communities they serve.

Many people purchase de-icing salt and apply it to their roads, sidewalks and driveways when it snows or sleets. While this may seem like the best solution, when the salt melts the snow and the mixture enters storm drains. From here, the salt travels to our streams as untreated, polluted runoff which is harmful to our environment. This includes our drinking water sources, infrastructure like pipes and pumps needed to supply water to our customers.
