4/16/2025: Loudoun Water and NOVA Parks have been recognized by the Loudoun County Environmental Commission with an Environmental Excellence Award for Reservoir Park.
The award celebrates the innovative park structures, unique landscape features, and interpretive content that all reinforce the broader mission of environmental protection, water conservation and source water protection. The award program is intended to recognize individuals, businesses, and organizations for their leadership on environmental issues. The project scored the highest among nominees in the Government category. Judges from the Commission evaluated nominees based on criteria of environmental impact, innovation and transferability.
