Engineering Inquiry Request Guide - Initial response within 3 days
The topics listed below are the most common request types for the Engineering Inquiry:

  • Homeowner/Resident
  • Map of Existing Utilities to a specific site
    • Please note: the map will show water, sewer and reclaimed pipe and size of pipe in proximity to the site.  Pipe capacity and/or flows are not available.
  • As-builts
  • New service request for single lot - water and/or sewer only permit
  • VDOT LUP-IPP (Land Use Permit Application – In Place Utility (New Street Acceptance))
    • SPECIAL PROVISIONS IN CONNECTION WITH PERMIT 
    • Project must have passed Loudoun Water Final Inspection
    • Boxed information on the form (lower portion) must be completed by applicant prior to submitting to Loudoun Water
      • Subdivision Name is the Loudoun Water project subdivision name
      • Plan Approval Date is the date of the Loudoun Water approval letter
      • Provide road names and stationing (only roads that are VDOT right-of-way; do not include private roads)
    • Top half of the form to be filled out by Loudoun Water upon receipt with the Inquiry Request
      • Loudoun Water will produce a map and sign form
      • Loudoun Water will return electronic documents and signed for to applicant via email within a standard review time window of 2 weeks
  • Miscellaneous/Other

Predesign Meeting Request- Meeting Scheduled no sooner than three (3) days after request is made. 
This meeting request is for due diligence/feasibility studies and/or preplan submission discussions, including confidential clients, with questions related to development options such as: process, pipe sizing, questions related to specific site development,etc.
