We are pleased to share that Loudoun Water will be the host facility for the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments CEC Wonders of Water (WOW) Journey for all of the local region Girl Scout Brownie troops. Event is open to all Metro DMV Girl Scout Brownies
The Wonders of Water Journey provides an opportunity for Girl Scout Brownie Troops to explore and experience various aspects of water, as well as promote stewardship. This event is meant to be an educational resource towards requirements for the WOW Journey badge. There are other requirements not included in this event such as planning and sharing a project.
What to expect: Your troop will learn about water by rotating through interactive stations designed and led by local water experts. Interactive stations are designed to deepen scouts' connection to water, teach them to be water advocates, and encourage them to brainstorm ways to share their experience with the community.
