Below is information on how and what is required to submit design and construction plans to Loudoun Water, the easement process, Loudoun Water’s Engineering Design Manual and Standard Details.
Loudoun Water’s plan review is separate from the Loudoun County plan review. For more information on how Loudoun Water and Loudoun County see our Land Development Process.
Loudoun Water’s engineers review the plans in accordance with the Engineering Design Manual. A formal submission is due whenever a developer will be building public main. If public main is not required for your project please submit an Engineering Inquiry Form.
When submitting plans to Loudoun Water please include the following items:
- Utility Extension Request (UER) Form
- Review Fees
- PDFs of the construction plans
- Bond Estimate Form, Connection Bond Estimate Form or Site plan estimate form
- One set of plans
- Loudoun Department of Economic Development Fast Track application (if applicable)
