Project Status In Construction Purpose: This project is required to ensure ongoing operational longevity and preserve the aesthetic appearance of the Brambleton Water Storage Tank 2 located in Ashburn, VA.Project Description: This project includes interior and exterior re-coating of the existing 2,500,000-gallon fluted column elevated water storage tank and other miscellaneous improvements. The water tank painting project also involves the removal of the wireless carriers’ antennas and other equipment from the water tank. The wireless carriers’ antennas will be installed on a temporary monopole tower outside of the water tank perimeter fence in order to have continuity of cell coverage in the area for the duration of the project. The monopole construction commences on August 10th. The temporary monopole will be up until the tank painting project is completed. The wireless carriers will then reinstall their antennas on the water tank. The temporary monopole will then be removed. Construction Information: 1. The Project Site is located in Ashburn, VA. 2. Increased vehicle traffic is anticipated accessing the site. 3. Construction access will be from Parkland Farms Terrace via Moonbeam Terrace. 4.
